It’s not just a matter of weeks before Premier League football returns forArsenal and their rivals with preparations well underway.
The Gunners kick off their 2025/26 campaign with a trip to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, August 17 (4.30pm kick-off). Mikel Arteta will hope to have some more new faces in his squad before that match.
Arsenal have so far signed four new players in the current window with Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard all joining since the end of the last campaign.

Speaking about any potential new incomings, Arteta said: "There's still a long time in the window and we are seeking still, in terms of numbers, we are short and we have to improve the depth and quality of the squad.
"We are constantly looking in the market. Until that happens, focus on the players we have and focus on them and I'm very pleased with what I have seen in the last 10-15 days."
One player who looks to be closing in on a move to the club is Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera. The Spain U21 international arrived in London last week to complete a medical ahead of a £15million move.
However, his move is yet to be confirmed. Reports suggest that it’s due to his move not being formally ratified, that should come this week, meaning that the defender could join up with the squad for the pre-season tour of Asia.
Another signing that Arsenal will hope to officially complete this week is Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres. Talks with the Portuguese club continue after a broad £63.7million agreement was reached over the forward.
However, the structure of the deal, regarding the €10 million (£8.4m) add-ons, are what the clubs remain in talks over. It’s said that Sporting want the add-ons to be easily achievable, whereas Arsenal want a more challenging criteria.
Following the signings of Mosquera and Gyokeres, some concentration may go on outgoings. Four players who are not expected to break into Arteta’s team this season are prime candidates to leave the club, with the possibility of deals happening this week.
Midfielder Fabio Vieira spent last season back on loan with former side FC Porto. He has now been linked with a move to Italian side Parma, where he would link up with Arteta’s former assistant Carlos Cuesta.
Academy graduate Reiss Nelson has been linked with a return to Fulham where he spent last season on loan. He made 13 appearances for the Cottagers, but his time at the club was cut short by injury.
Albert Sambi Lokonga is another player who spent last season on loan away from Arsenal, playing for La Liga club Sevilla. He is expected to move on this season, despite Arsenal triggering a year extension in his contract.
A fourth player who could move quickly is goalkeeper Karl Hein. The arrival of Kapa means that he has been pushed further down the pecking order, with him linked with a return to La Liga following a loan spell with Real Valladolid.
