On the 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big gift to the youth of the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He announced the launch of PM Vikasit Bharat Yojana. Under this, the youth who get a job for the first time will get financial assistance of 15000. Meanwhile, an important question has come up that if someone is already working but his PF account is not opened yet, will he also get the benefit of this scheme. In such a situation, let us tell you today that if you are already working but the account is not opened in PF, then you will not get the benefit of the scheme.
EPFO registration is necessary for the benefit of the scheme
According to the guidelines of the government, it is clear that the benefit of the scheme will be available only to those youth who will join EPFO for the first time. That is, if someone is already working, but his PF account has never been opened, then as soon as he registers with EPFO and fulfills the rest of the conditions, he will become eligible for this scheme.
Under what conditions will the benefit of 15,000 be available
For those working for the first time to get 15,000, first of all the gross salary of the employees should be one lakh rupees or less. Apart from this, the company in which the employee is working should be registered with EPFO. At the same time, it is mandatory to work continuously for at least 6 months in the company. Apart from this, the employees will have to complete the financial literacy program organized by the government.
When and how will the money be received
Under this scheme, the amount of 15,000 will be given in two installments. In which the first installment will be given after completing 6 months of continuous service, while the second installment will be given after completing 12 months and participating in the financial literacy program. This amount will be sent directly to the bank account of the employees through DBT. While some part will be deposited in the PF account so that the habit of saving is developed.
Companies will also get incentives
Not just employees, but companies will also get assistance of up to Rs 3,000 per month on newly recruited employees for 2 years. For the manufacturing sector, this period has been extended to 4 years. The Rs 1 lakh crore scheme aims to create 3.5 crore new jobs in the next 2 years, out of which 1.92 crore opportunities will be for first-time job seekers.
