Taylor Swift is giving fans an exclusive look behind the scenes of her record-breaking Eras Tour with the announcement of a six-part docuseries and a concert film, both set to debut on Disney+ this December. The update was revealed during the October 13 broadcast of Good Morning America and has since sparked widespread excitement among her global fanbase.

Six-Part Docuseries: An Intimate Tour Experience
Titled Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, the docuseries will consist of six episodes, with the first two premiering on December 12. Additional episodes will follow weekly over the next two weeks. According to Variety, the series promises unprecedented access, offering an intimate portrayal of Swift’s life on the road and highlighting the collaborative efforts behind the tour. Family members, friends, and fellow performers, including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, will feature in the episodes, providing insight into the tour’s creation and impact.

The series aims to chronicle not just the performances but the personal moments and behind-the-scenes experiences that defined this era of Swift’s career. Disney+ described the docuseries as an exploration of the development, influence, and inner workings that made the Eras Tour a global phenomenon.

Concert Film: The Final Show in Vancouver
Alongside the docuseries, Swift will release a concert film, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Productions in collaboration with Silent House Productions. Filmed during the tour’s final performance in Vancouver, British Columbia, the film captures the full set of The Tortured Poets Department, added to the tour following the release of her 2024 album. This offers fans who were unable to attend the live shows an opportunity to experience the tour in its entirety.

Swift celebrated the projects on social media, noting that filming the tour and the final show allowed her to preserve the most intense and significant moments of this chapter in her life. The announcement follows the October 3 release of her twelfth studio album, which has already achieved major commercial success. In interviews, she described this era as vibrant and joyful, reflecting both her personal and professional growth.

The docuseries is directed by Don Argott, co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce, and produced by Object & Animal. Both the docuseries and the concert film are set to premiere on Disney+ on December 12.
