Donald Trump has issued a four-word update as the world awaits his decision on whether to join in the conflict against Iran.
The US president said on Thursday that he would make a call within the "next two weeks" but since then tensions have escalated further after Tehrandeclared it would not enter negotiations over its nuclear programme. Iran's Isfahan nuclear facility - one of country's largest - was struck by Israelbut did not result in a hazardous waste leak.
It comes after air raid sirens sounded across parts of central Israel at around 2:30am as the military warned of an incoming missile barrage from Iran. Explosions echoed across Tel Aviv as interceptions lit up the sky, with the Israeli military scrambling to respond.

Yesterday spirit warplanes, capable of delivering nuclear weapons, appeared to be on the way to Guam in the Pacific Ocean, where the US has multiple military installations.
Multiple US aerial refueling tankers have been spotted on commercial flight tracking services - and commentators say their flying flight patterns are consistent with aircraft moving from the central US to the Pacific.
B-2 bombers, which are the only US aircraft that carry large 'bunker buster' bombs, are based at an Air Force base in Missouri, but are often moved to the Pacific when on foreign deployments. It was not clear whether the aircraft being escorted earlier today were prepared for an operation, or merely moving to airbases closer to Iran as a show of force.
Within the last couple of hours president Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social ahead of arriving at the White House to drop an enigmatic message about his intentions for US military intervention in Iran. Alongside a clip from a Fox News broadcast discussing the 'two- week' time frame Trump said: "Only time will tell."
It comes after Tehran’s foreign minister has warned that US involvement in the conflict would be “very very dangerous”.
In the latest missile strikes Saeed Izadi, head of the Palestinian Division of Iran’s Quds Force, is believed to have died in a pinpoint "revenge" attack on a safe house in the Iranian city of Qom. The IDF says Izadi was one of the masterminds of the 2023 attacks in which 1,200 died and 250 were kidnapped.
The US ambassador to Israel says the government has begun "assisted departure flights" for the first time since the October 7 attacks. Americans living in in Israel and the West Bank who need help have been urged by Mike Huckabee to complete a form on the US state department’s website.
It comes after Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the UK government is now arranging charter flights to bring home British nationals from Israel once the nation's airspace reopens.
