One of the original stars of Gogglebox has certainly had a journey since their time on the show - but where are they now?
Chris Ashby-Steed joined Channel 4's popular series in its inaugural season back in 2013 alongside then-boyfriend Stephen Webb, and the Brighton duo quickly became fan favourites.
However, Chris bid farewell to the show in 2018, with Stephen's mum Pat stepping in as his new sofa companion. Stephen's ex-partner Daniel Lustig later joined him on the programme until their departure in 2023.

Post-Gogglebox, Chris found love once more with his now-husband Tony, tying the knot in 2017. Reflecting on their wedding day, Chris shared: "It was the most amazing day of my life and I know it was of Tony's life as well."
In a surprising turn of events in 2022, Chris and Tony opted to step away from the limelight, swapping England for the tranquillity of rural Wales, where they purchased a beautiful property to renovate, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Announcing their move in January 2022, Chris introduced their new home in Adpar, Newcastle Emlyn via social media, writing: 'Introducing you to our new home, finally exchanged contracts on our beautiful Victorian home in south-west Wales, it was love at first sight!
Xx. "Discussing their decision to relocate from Brighton, Chris revealed to WalesOnline in 2024 that he wanted to "eliminate" the memories he had of Gogglebox. The former TV star, who is also a hairdresser, admitted that his sudden fame led to "real anxiety", often feeling like he was constantly under scrutiny while out and about in Brighton.
The loss of Tony's mum in 2021, following her battle with a double bleed on the brain, has spurred Chris and Tony to embrace life fully. In discussing their significant relocation, Chris told the media outlet: "Before we moved we didn't feel like we had a good life-work balance.
Whereas here, even though there's still lots to do, it's still a lifestyle thing. We're doing this because it's going to reward us later in life.
"He elaborated on their new outlook, saying, "You know, we want to stay here for the next 20 years. We're a lot calmer, we don't have the stresses and the strains. We have lots of friends in Brighton and the ones that matter will come and visit. ".
Since acquiring their new abode, Chris has been actively updating followers on their ambitious renovation journey. In February, the couple posted numerous videos showcasing the extensive refurbishments they've undertaken, both internally and externally.
Gogglebox airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
