The late James Whale is said to have left thousands to his wife Nadine Talbot-Brown in his will. The news comes after it was announced just four weeks ago that the presenter had died, aged 74, following a second cancer diagnosis.
It was announced last month that James, known for his work on TalkTV and TalkRadio, among other radio stations, had died on the morning of August 4. Tributes were paid to the former BBC Radio host following the news of his death.
It's now been reported that he left "almost all" of his estate to his wife Nadine, whom he married in 2021. He's said to have also left money to his children Peter and James from his first marriage to Melinda Maxted, who died in 2018.

According to the Sun, James' estate was signed off by the High Court last week, just weeks after his death at the start of last month. The outlet reports that records it has obtained show that he left an estate worth £715,000.
His estate is said to have been reduced by £197,800 after taxes, fees and debts to £517,200. The Sun reports that he left "almost all" of his estate to his second wife, Nadine, and passed £75,000 tax-free to his kids James and Peter.
The outlet suggests that James also provided a request over his funeral in the will. It claims that the late radio host's will, which is said to have been signed in April last year, includes the request that he be buried.
The news comes after it was announced last month that James had died. His wife Nadine told the Express on August 4: "James slipped away very gently this morning. It was a beautiful passing, and he left with a smile on his face."
James had been diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2000. He's then said to have had surgery to remove one of his kidneys but two decades later the presenter announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer once again.
He shared the news in 2020. James said at the time that the cancer had spread, with him revealing that it had reached his remaining kidney, his lungs, his spine and his brain. More recently, he shared in May this year: "I'm at the end of my cancer journey. There is no treatment I can have anymore."
Following the news of his death four weeks ago, James was the subject of tributes on social media. It included him being remembered in a statement issued by TalkTV, which had aired his talk show James Whale Unleashed.
In a statement at the time, TalkTV said: "We are sad to announce that James Whale MBE died earlier today, aged 74, following a lengthy battle with cancer. As a broadcasting legend for over 50 years, James will be missed by so many at TALK and the wider News UK family."
