Married At First Sight returned to our television screens this week, with a new crop of faces being matched with singletons on their wedding days and hoping to find lasting love with one another.
One of these faces is clinical coder Leigh Harris, 30, who was paired with construction consultant Leah Tyrer, 35. Despite being a great match on paper, Leigh revealed Leah lacked the masculine traits she preferred.
The pair spent their wedding night in separate rooms before jetting off to Switzerland for their honeymoon. Leah tried to bond with her wife by taking her up a mountain for zip lining but her fear of heights continued to make things awkward between the pair.
After an uncomfortable couples massage, Leigh attempted to mend things as she told the camera: “I've sort of had to think about how I'm behaving.
“I know that I've had moments where I could've been more open and I could've put more effort in. So, I want her to know that I'm gonna take on board what she said.”

Now Leigh has taken to Instagram to reveal the truth about the honeymoon and debuted a stunning hair transformation. She took to her stories to show off her brunette hairstyle, a stark difference from her previous blonde tresses that viewers saw on the show this week.
In the video, the reality star claimed her honeymoon wasn’t portrayed correctly on screen and didn’t reflect the reality of what happened.
She fumed: “I've got to just come on here to try and back myself here because that edit of that honeymoon was f****** awful. Sorry, I'm still in a little bit of shock myself.
“I'm already getting an abundance of hate. It is what it is, but that massage scene did not go like that. We were in that massage room for about an hour. We both massaged each other, and we were having a laugh.
“Each of those comments that were snipped and shown that I've made to Leah, we were laughing in between, we were having a joke. Believe it or not, we were getting on a lot better than it looks on screen right now."

She concluded by adding: “I just feel like I'm being done absolutely dirty here, I'm not going to lie.
“Yes, I am fiery. Yes, I am blunt. I've got a dry sense of humour, that's who I am, but that was not as bad as it looks."
Viewers saw Leigh say she wanted to go home after panicking while in the queue for the zipline. She exclaimed: “This is not fun for me! I'm about to have a panic attack, I'm not joking! I'm actually anxious, I don't like heights. Sorry, I can't breathe! I just want to go home."
A worried Leah then told cameras: "We're at 2,900 meters. Leigh's scared of heights, I think I've gone too far with it, it's really bad," as she went to check up on her new wife.
Leigh then asked for two minutes as she walked off and asked for two minutes, telling the cameras she felt like Leah was being insensitive and she was "pretty p**sed off" with her wife, who enjoyed the zipline alone.
