Scarlett Thomas has revealed on TikTok that she did not sit any GCSEs - with many fans taking to the comment section to ask the same question about her decision. The 16-year-old is following in the footsteps of her famous parents, Ryan Thomas who played Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street and Tina O'Brien, who currently plays Sarah Platt in the ITV soap, and has achieved huge success in Waterloo Road.
But many of her fans were under the assumption that she was also pursuing an academic fall back until the 16 year old star took to Tik Tok and said: "Watching everyone get their GCSE results today wondering if I could've had good results but I will forever wonder."
She added: "Well done everyone you all should be beyond proud whatever results you got [sic]." It comes after Ryan Thomas says 'nepo baby' daughter Scarlett isn't 'getting a free ride'.

Just moments after her post went live, many of her followers rushed to the comment section to find out why she chose to opt out of gaining qualifications, while others supported her decision. One person wrote: "Why did u not do them or something?" Another wrote: "Why did you not get them?"
A third said: "Two years on since mine and they really do not define your future at all. You'll forever wonder but God had a different plan for you xx."
A fourth person added: "Proud of you anyways no matter what you are so talented and doing amazing things already you are going to go so far!!"
And a fifth person wrote: "it's okay Scarlett, we're all still proud of you with or without grades, they don't define you as a person xx [sic]'
In a previous post, Scarlett was forced to clap back at those who did not agree with her decision to jump into the world of acting at such a young age.

She wrote: "God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets."
And in a show of support her mum Tina, 42, took to Instagram to reveal her pride.
She penned: "So proud of @scarlettjthomas26, she's worked so hard on Waterloo Road and I've absolutely loved watching her portrayal of Izzy."
She added: "Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she's been nominated for an award."
