George Clarke has shared his true feelings about Strictly Come Dancing - just two weeks into the competition. The YouTube star, 25, is currently taking part in the BBC series alongside professional partner Alexis Warr and they finished third on last week's leader board with a score of 54, combined from the first two live heats.
On Sunday night, following the elimination ofThe Apprentice star Thomas Skinner, George took to Instagram to share what taking part really means to him.
He wrote: "Probably [a] good time to continue being serious and thank everyone for their unbelievable support so far. Whether you're old or new (here, not just in general) I really appreciate the comments, the messages and obviously the votes!"

George found fame on TikTok in 2019 and has since garnered almost 50 million subscribers on YouTube, but admitted that the whole new venture is a 'change of scene' for him, although he has developed a positive outlook on it all.
"Bit of a change of scene for me but I really am enjoying it and feeling very grateful. Any successes are almost entirely courtesy of @alexis_warr.
"Now onto week two where there are two certainties. I'll throw a [rock on emoji], [and] I'll be in something slightly more colourful!"
During Saturday night's edition of Strictly, George danced the Paso doble to Game of Survival by Ruelle, and won praise from judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke. Viewers at home were equally impressed and some rushed to social media to predict that George will be the winner this year.
But he faces tough competition from fellow contestants like Love Island winner and musical theatre star Amber Davies, who topped the leaderboard on Saturday, whilst Emmerdale star Lewis Cope, Lioness Karen Carney and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink also managed to land relatively high in the scoring.
One wrote on X: "George Clarke is definitely one to watch & the fact he is not a trained dancer will help him go far. Guaranteed lot of female votes too," whilst another simply said: "George is my winner this series.
A third predicted: "I think it’s going to be George that wins the glitter ball this year. He has the golden combination of, no dance experience and being very, very good. If he’d not done the show, he’d never know he has a natural talent for dance."
Just before announcing his participation in this year's lineup, George confirmed he was dating lingerie model Yasmin Amelia. He explained his reasoning on the Useless Hotline Podcast, saying he wanted to take control of the story before speculation started.
He shared: "That's part of the reason why we wanted to say something. Because the two options were, say something. You have full control over how it comes out.
"Whatever you say is basically how people find out, or it stays private. [It] just sort of takes all the control out of your hands. But then, I [will] just go on stream after that and be like, that's not true, by the way. But, yeah, she's my girlfriend."
