Dhaskund Waterfall Video: Major accident at Dhaskund Waterfall, young man fell from a height of 65 feet while making a reel, your heart will tremble after watching the video
Balodabazar: Dhaskund Waterfall Video while the continuous heavy rain in the district has filled the fields with greenery, the flow of water in the waterfalls and rivers of the district is also at its peak. But the beauty of this water stream is now becoming a new threat for the youth. On one hand, while people are being drawn to natural waterfalls with their families to enjoy the monsoon, some "mischievous" youths are risking their lives to capture these scenes of rain in their reels and selfies.
Balodabazar News On Thursday evening, a similar painful incident happened at Dhasgud waterfall in Balodabazar district, when three teenagers from village Cherkapur of Palari block came to visit. Out of these, 15-year-old Nikhil Sahu had climbed to the highest peak of the waterfall, from where he was enjoying the panoramic view. But his one mistake at this height of natural beauty proved costly. One moment of fun, one moment of mistake and Nikhil fell straight down on the rocks from a height of 60-65 feet.
Four bones of his body were broken; there are deep wounds on his head and back. He is fighting for his life in the hospital. It is being told that Nikhil's feet slipped on the slippery moss covered stone and he fell straight down on the stones from a height of 60-65 feet. The horror of the accident can be estimated from the fact that four bones of Nikhil's body have been broken and many organs have suffered serious injuries. Currently he is being treated in a private hospital in Balodabazar and according to the doctors he is out of danger now, but the injuries are deep.
Dhasgud waterfall is not a hidden place. Rather, every year hundreds of people come here for picnic, reel, photo, fun and to enjoy the rain. But there is no fencing here, no warning board, no rescue system and no guard. If someone falls, it is up to fate. In today's era, youth are ready to go to any extent in search of a "picture perfect moment".
Making reels, doing stunts, jumping from heights at natural places like Dhasgud waterfall has now become a trend. But this trend is crossing the limits of insensitivity and carelessness. Every year, dozens of youth in Chhattisgarh and other parts of India become victims of accidents while taking selfies. India has started being called 'Selfie Death Capital'.
This incident of Balodabazar is also a warning of the same danger. The most shocking thing is that there are no warning boards, no security guards posted and no barricading arrangements at the major waterfalls of the district, especially in areas like Dhasgud, Girodpuri Ghat, Ranidah and Megha. Whereas all these places attract thousands of tourists during the rainy season, the largest number of which are youth and school children. Is the administration waiting for some major mishap? Will boards be installed, security personnel deployed and rules made only after accidents?
This incident has once again forced parents, schools and society to think about how to keep the youth away from the show-off of social media. Playing with life in the name of adventure has now become normal. It is important to explain to the youth that it is not wise to put your future or life at stake for a good photo.
