Never Mind The Buzzcocks was rebooted by Sky in 2021 after being axed by BBC bosses in 2015. The music-themed quiz show stars comedian Greg Davies, who hosts the popular show, with Noel Fielding and Daisy May Cooper joining the funnyman as team captains. Stand-up star Jamali Maddix is also a regular fixture on the panel since its relaunch. In a huge shake-up for the new series, it has been revealed actress Daisy, 39, famed for her roles in BBC series This Country, has quit the comedy panel show. The on-screen star had taken a step back from the fourth series last year after welcoming her baby son Benji. Sophie Willan, who had been standing in for the star, will now permanently take her place on the panel.
Director of Sky Arts and Entertainment, Phil Edgar-Jones said: "It's the starriest line-up you could hope for this year on Buzzcocks with something to satisfy every musical taste from the nineties through the noughties via boy and girl bands right to the present day. Throw in a healthy dose of unpredictability and mad comedy and you'd got the perfect fourth album."
This series' themes have also been revealed as The Nineties, The Noughties, Rock and Girl, and Boy Bands.
Never Mind The Buzzcocks first broadcast in 1996 and the music trivia quiz has been hosted by Mark Lamarr, Simon Amstell and, most recently, Rhod Gilbert.
It had a reputation for upsetting its guests - with Lemmy, Huey Morgan and Preston all storming off the set.
A revamp in 2014 failed to improve ratings, and the BBC eventually dropped the show. The show returned to Sky four years ago.
