Meghan Markle accused of 'exploiting' her children to promote her Netflix show

Meghan Markle has been accused of "exploiting" Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet when it came to promoting her Netflix series. The 44-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share a few new behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of With Love, Meghan - with some pictures including Archie and Lilibet.

In one picture posted on her Instagram account, @meghan, Archie and Lilibet can be seen watching a screen on the set. Lilibet showed off her red locks as she can be seen holding a piece of equipment up to her ear. Next to his little sister, Archie is seen holding some sound equipment as he watches the screen on the table. She also included a picture of Lilibet facing away from the camera and sat on a chair. Another showed Archie on the screen holding a director's clapboard, with his face carefully covered by a grey-heart emoji.

As reported by The Sun, royal expert Hugo Vickers has shared that Prince Harry "ought to be extremely annoyed" with his wife's decision to share the pictures of their children, Archie and Lilibet, and added they may one day feel that they were "exploited".

Mr Vickers said: "[Harry] ought to be extremely annoyed. Obviously, I don't know what he thinks, but I think he does what he's told probably.

"You know, what worries me much more, to be quite honest, is what the children themselves are going to think when they get a little bit older and they realise how they've been exploited."

Speaking of Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, he added: "And, of course, they will also realise at a certain point that they've never met their grandfathers and that they have cousins in England who have rather an interesting life - something which they've been kept away from."

An anonymous member of the crew previously recalled how Archie and Lilibet would often visit their mum on set of her Netflix show, which was filmed at a beautiful California estate located a few miles away from their Montecito home.

Speaking to PEOPLE, they added: "She [Meghan] was super attentive and doting on them. We would give them headphones so they could listen to audio."

Meghan also previously told the publication that her son had his own special role on the show. Meghan said: "Archie did the filming clapboard! Sweet moments."
