Queen Camilla may have a busy life on the royal stage, but behind closed doors she has a number of relatable hobbies that many can relate to. Although she is believed to spend the majority of her time living with King Charles at Clarence House in London, Camilla does also have her own private country abode where she tends to enjoy time away from royal responsibility, and carry out one of her favourite hobbies.

This hobby was revealed on Wednesday when Camilla, 78, and King Charles, 76, spent time at the Sandringham Flower Show. It was here where Camilla spoke to some of those attending about her love for gardening at her private Ray Mill House in Wiltshire, which she first brought in 1996 after her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles.

Speaking about gardening on Wednesday, Camilla said: "Yes, I do enjoy it. I'm very proud of my veg."

Her Majesty then described gardening as "the best therapy in the world", and revealed that she has had to care even more for her Wiltshire garden due to the lack of recent rain.

As reported by GB News, she could be heard saying: "We haven't had any rain, though, [even though] it's been raining here. I've never done so much watering in my life."

Queen Camilla's love for her Wiltshire home, and its garden, was shown last week when photographs of Her Majesty at her home was shared to mark her 78th birthday.

This included a photo of Camilla leaning on her garden gate, and another of Her Majesty reading a book in the garden.

Her Majesty likes to visit her Wiltshire home in the village of Lacock as often as she can, as this is the place where she can really relax.

A source once told Express.co.uk: "At Ray Mill she can sit down with a big G&T, kick off her shoes and watch Coronation Street, which Charles loathes.

"She also doesn't have to bother about how the place looks - Charles is so fussy about tidiness, while she leaves her stuff all over the place. She doesn't need her cushions plumped all the time."
