NEW DELHI: Teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi starred in Rajasthan Royals ’ (RR) farewell match of the IPL 2025 season, leading a successful chase against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) with a remarkable innings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old opener, playing with fearless composure, scored 57 off 33 balls and stitched a 98-run stand with skipper Sanju Samson (41 off 31 balls) to guide RR to a convincing win by six wickets with 17 balls to spare in pursuit of CSK’s 188.

While the match held no bearing on the playoff race, it served as a morale boost for RR, who ended a disappointing campaign on a high.
